I hereby acknowledge that I will be held accountable for my actions when using Clerk-Recorder indices information/resources. I understand that I am bound by the following:

Any analyses, interpretations, or conclusions reached regarding the record indices are my own and not of the Santa Barbara County Clerk-Recorder’s Office.
Technical descriptions of the record indices are consistent with those provided by the Santa Barbara County Clerk-Recorder’s Office.
I will not sell, assign, or otherwise transfer the record indices.
I will not use the record indices for fraudulent purposes.
I will not release or allow public access to the record indices.
I will not post any of the record indices on the Internet.
I will not use this information for any other purpose other than the reason described above. I accept that this access may be revoked by the Santa Barbara County Clerk-Recorder at any time.
Certified copies may only originate through the Recorder’s Office.

Government Code Section 6254.21 I will comply with Government Code 6254.21 which prevents posting of names and home addresses on the internet. Violations are a misdemeanor.
